Gig East

I worked with Gig East to shift the public’s perception of them as a co-working space to that of a brand supporting innovation of all shapes and sizes. Through interviews and research, we developed the Gig East Alliance, a free and frictionless way for people to get involved with the organization. We also created a brand identity system with updated look and flexibility to support multiple sub-brands and scale seamlessly across video, print, and digital.

My vision for Gig East also involved re-establishing a connection with their original E.A.S.T. acronym: entrepreneurship, art, science, and technology. From a science lab to a hip-hop concert, from a business office to a 4th-grade classroom, Gig East sees and champions innovation everywhere.

The look and presentation of the brand is modern, sleek, aspirational, diverse, and energetic. The visuals reflect the thrill of making something new, and the confidence of original ideas.
